The history of BSC Materials began in 2022 as the commercial division of Coplast Packaging Srl, a company with twenty years of experience in packaging production. In the last two years, Coplast Packaging has achieved a leading position in the national market thanks to investments in the use of recycled plastic as a sustainable solution, believing in technological innovation as a driver for change and development.
BSC Materials offers BSC COMPOUND, a 100% Bio-Based material HOME compostable, which aims to reduce the production and use of traditional plastics. This material is obtained through fermentation processes of natural products by microorganisms.
BSC Materials, in addition to the extraordinary BSC COMPOUND, is able to supply, thanks to its parent company Coplast Packaging, environmentally sustainable alternative products made of recycled plastic materials from separate waste collection that reduce the CO2 impact on the environment.
How can the ground be nourished by returning, from waste from commercial consumption and agro-industrial activity, elements for soil renewal and regeneration?
MISSION
BSC Materials proposes BSC COMPOUND, an innovative solution for the production of objects in different types of sectors, using waste from commercial consumption and agro-industrial activities to nourish the earth and regenerate the soil.
BSC COMPOUND is a material derived from organic waste from the food industry, which creates biopolymers as a natural alternative to plastic.
At the end of its life cycle, BSC COMPOUND, HOME compostable, can be composted at home to generate fertile humus that can be used in the vegetable garden, in the yard or on the terrace, or it can be disposed of as organic waste. BSC Materials adopts the concept of circular thinking, recovering material, sorting it, giving it a new life in the form of an object and reusing it.
BSC Materials targets companies producing plastic objects using extrusion or injection moulding processes. By replacing the raw material with BSC COMPOUND, these companies can contribute to making our world more sustainable.

BSC Volley
PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN SPORT
AND COMPANY
As the name BSC (acronym of Bio – Social – Compost) suggests, our company strongly believes in the social aspect of any activity. We have therefore decided to commit ourselves personally in this sense, offering our support to the sports world.
After supporting Volley Academy and Idea Volley, for the 2024/2025 season, we have decided to take the field ourselves by acquiring the Serie B1 sporting title and establishing BSC Volley.
The president of the new partnership will be former champion Francesca Ferretti, who will be responsible for laying the foundations of a new sporting project. In this initiative, BSC will commit directly to ensuring the necessary stability to achieve, year after year, the objectives essential for developing a promising growth trajectory. In addition to top-level activities, there will always be an intense youth program structured at the heart of the project, with the dual purpose of social engagement and providing further momentum to the entire Sasso community and beyond.
